Tillamook County Fair 4
 August 11, 2001

Between the 7th and 8th races, the 
between-races infield show moved out onto the
track for a race of about a quarter mile from 
a walking start.  The pinto horse won, neighing 
in triumph at the end.  The Appy was second.
Race 8: Charminger gazes
over the back of her paddock 
stall in the direction of the track.

Race 8: Left to right,
Charminger, Miss Tough Enough,
Tweed, and Aspen's Lass.
Race 8: First time down the stretch, Aspen's Lass
is in front. Miss Tough Enough is second.  Tweed
is next on the rail, with Charminger outside.

Race 8: Going around the far turn, Aspen's Lass
is in front with Tweed outside of her.  Third is 
Charminger, and Miss Tough Enough is last.

Race 8: Coming off the turn, Aspen's Lass (red) 
and Tweed (blue) are still in front, and Charminger
(green) and Miss Tough Enough (white) are still behind.
Tweed won by a neck over Aspen's Lass.

Amusement rides at the fair included a carousel.
